From the battlefield, to the classroom, to the stage.
Same mission.
Make people listen, learn, and laugh.
"When adults complain the room is too hot or too cold,
I don't argue. I just walk over and
pretend to change the thermostat."
John P. Smith Jr. has spent most of his life trying to get adults to follow instructions. First in the Marine Corps. Then in corporate classrooms. Now he wants them to laugh as he speaks and performs comedy about the instructions that didn't work, the people who skipped them, and the ones who confidently did it wrong anyway. After 30 years of training more than 100,000 employees, John learned that most problems are not complicated. The instructions were fine. The people were the problem.
His comedy comes from real life: work, marriage, family, aging, technology, health, and the everyday nonsense people act like they do not notice. John does not just complain about what went wrong. He points out the problem, names who probably caused it, and comes up with a fix nobody expected. His comedy works for comedy clubs, corporate events, private events, veteran groups, training events, and audiences who like smart, relatable comedy about real life.
John performs stand up comedy, speaks at events, and trains teams. The room changes. The mission stays the same: make people listen, learn, and laugh.
